At Oak City Ceremonies, our goal is to make every single ceremony that we perform amazing! We want to help you create the kind of ceremony that will keep everyone engaged and excited to be there. We want your guests to keep reminding you all night how much they enjoyed your ceremony. Every love story is unique, and we’d love to help tell yours.
How do we make the magic happen?
First we’ll go through every detail of your ceremony to make sure it’s just as special as you’ve been imagining it. We’ll talk about everything from who will be holding your rings to what special elements you want to include to what type of vows you want for your ceremony. Next comes your homework (and the fun part!)— we’ll send you a survey to help us write your love story in an unforgettable way. We’ll ask about how you met, fell in love, got engaged, and how you feel about each other. We’ll also ask for emails of friends and family members so that we can get multiple perspectives and really understand what makes you unique as a couple. Then Rebecca, our master story-teller, will write a custom ceremony all your own, incorporating your love story and personalities into it.
When your big day arrives your officiant (Rebecca or Emily) will coordinate with your other vendors and help conduct your rehearsal to make sure that everyone is on the same page and is confident about their role in your ceremony. The day of your ceremony your officiant will show up early and double-check that everyone and everything is ready to kick off smoothly. After the ceremony she’ll make sure all signatures are in order and file your marriage license the next business day. We do everything we can to help make the legal process easy for you and we’re here to answer questions and offer guidance every step of the way.

Not Having a Rehearsal?
No problem! We will take $100 off the Custom Ceremony Price if you don’t need your officiant to attend the rehearsal.
