Wedding Highlight: Keely & Deon
Keely and Deon were married in September at The Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The day and location proved to be the perfect setting for this amazing couple and their magical, unforgettable wedding ceremony.

What stood out about their ceremony: Amazing family, hilarious friends, and the sweetest love story.
When Rebecca and I first met with Deon and Keely to begin planning their ceremony, we immediately noticed that they were just so easy and fun to be around. They also had a lot of great ideas for their wedding ceremony, from dear friends who they wanted to read special scriptures to a wine box ritual to creative entry and exit strategies: they had obviously put some thought into what they wanted. Working through the details of their wedding ceremony was pure delight!
When I met Keely & Deon next, at their rehearsal, it was immediately obvious that in addition to being fabulous themselves, Keely and Deon have amazing families and hilarious friends! I immediately felt like I was part of the family.
The wedding ceremony the next day was everything beautiful, sweet, and fun. One special moment in the ceremony happened when Keely & Deon’s adorable daughter, acting as flower girl, started down the aisle and was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion. Jaclyn, Keely's sister, quickly scooped her up and lovingly carried her to be comforted by her dad, Deon. They were all in it together!
Another highlight from their wedding was Keely and Deon's endearing love story. It was equal parts romantic, hilarious, and so very personal. I think my favorite line from their ceremony, that really encapsulates their story, was something that Deon told me and that I read for their guests: “Life hit us fast and we kicked its butt together. I always knew Keely was the one.”
Many guests mentioned after the ceremony that they weren't expecting to both laugh and cry within minutes, and that they truly felt part of the ceremony. I can't think of a better compliment!
Finally, this family knew how to celebrate and their joy was abundant! I am incredibly honored to have been a part of this fabulous day! Congratulations to you and your beautiful family, Keely & Deon!
